THE SPICE GIRLS!!!!
I was Ginger Spice. (Go figure... a redhead playing Ginger) It was indeed glorious! We even got Richard to be our Sporty Spice. We somehow managed to sneak our way into a costume contest that we weren't even entered in and walked away with 3rd place after the DJ played "Wanna Be". This holiday will never get old.
I still have not secured a Rodger Rabbit doll and once again I've had to pass on dressing up as Jessica Rabbit. *sigh* I even grew my hair out this year.
For those of you not keeping score, my best costumes are as follows:
Sex & the City: This was our Halloween in June party. Miranda is my fav character and we had such a blast planning this! Orange juice for me thanks! ;)
Sharon or Kelly Osbourne: Depending on who you were talking to. (Actually I didn't have either in mind. I just put on an old stage makeup wig and hoped for the best)
Ashelee Simpson: Look! I can hoedown and lip sync at the same time! (You can't see my awesome Chucks in this picture. Rats!)
Minnie Mouse: This one was actually put together in 1hrs. notice! Not as creative as I would have liked, but still cute. (Which is odd because I don't usually get described as "cute")
Cheerleaders: Ok, so here's the story behind why this costume is soooooo great. First of all, Tiff and I are the least likely people to ever dress as cheerleaders. One day when Tiff was back in our home town, she happened to pass by our rival high school and saw the old uniforms being dumped. She pilfered them and we couldn't resist.
What the Dixie Chix would look like as punk rockers: Ha ha ha. We came to that conclusion as we realized we had no money for real costumes, but we all had some form of plaid, red and black, and boots. Way to work with what ya have! ;)
Though, I think my best costume is the one I'm sad to say I don't have a picture of. When I was 11 years old, I told my parents that I wanted to be Gene Simmons. At that time, none of my friends had even heard of KISS. lol!
All their parents thought it was pretty sweet though ;) Not gonna lie.... it was!
CLOSING THOUGHT: No scary movies this Halloween :( Not if there is no one beside me to keep me from jumping out of my skin. *sigh* There's always next year.
